At Mach&nbsp;0.65,&nbsp;<em>u<\/em>&nbsp;is 65% of the speed of sound (subsonic), and, at Mach&nbsp;1.35,&nbsp;<em>u<\/em>&nbsp;is 35% faster than the speed of sound (supersonic).
