Compressor efficiency value achieved under specific operating conditions – including ambient temperature, coolant temperature, ambient and operating pressure, consuming the appropriate amount of energy. The operating point most often differs from the nominal point, which corresponds to the maximum efficiency and power parameters achieved under reference conditions, e.g. under normal conditions or according to the acceptance standard for the compressors concerned.
